When will the Redmi K90 series be launched?
According to reliable industry sources, including Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Redmi K90 series is expected to be released in October. Considering that its predecessor, the K80 series, went on sale at the end of November, it appears that the launch has been moved up.
The source previously stated that the standard model will feature Qualcomm’s upcoming SM8845 chipset, while the Pro variant will be powered by the SM8850 chipset.
While the exact chipset names have not been disclosed yet, it has been confirmed that the standard model will use the SM8845, a custom chipset developed jointly by Qualcomm and Redmi. It is even expected to offer performance similar to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Meanwhile, the Pro model will likely be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
